The short version

Huntr collects what it needs to run your account and rank brands for you, and nothing for advertising.
We never sell your information, and we don’t use ad trackers or third-party analytics.
Huntr never sees your Trybe password. My Videos only gets the stats you choose to sync, and you can delete them anytime.

1. Who we are

Huntr (myhuntr.com) is a tool that helps Trybe creators find brands worth applying to. Huntr is operated by Nate West (“Huntr”, “we”, “us”). Huntr is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Trybe.

This policy explains what we collect when you use myhuntr.com, why, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@myhuntr.com.

2. What we collect

Your account

Your email address, your password (stored only as a one-way secure hash, so we can’t read it), the name you enter, and the pitch email text you save.

How you use Huntr

Brands you shortlist, mark as applied, accepted or partnered; your yes/no choices on For You; the niches and filters you pick; and brand referrals you send us. We also keep a simple log of actions inside Huntr, like opening a brand page or clicking Apply, plus error reports when something breaks (the page and the error message). We use this to run your account, improve rankings and fix bugs.

My Videos (only if you use Huntr Sync)

Huntr Sync is optional. When you click it, it runs inside your own logged-in Trybe tab and sends Huntr your video stats: each video’s earnings (all time, 90, 30 and 7 days), hook rate, click-through rate, thumbnail and video links, and brand; your account totals (like impressions, approvals and approval rate); and the brands you’re approved with. Your Trybe password and login token never leave your Trybe tab and are never sent to Huntr. Each sync replaces the last one, and you can delete your synced stats anytime from My Videos.

Brands that pitch creators

If you submit the brand pitch form: your name, role, work email and the details about your brand. Your email is shown to creators only if you check the box that allows it.

Security and abuse prevention

To stop spam and password guessing, we record the IP address of login and signup attempts and delete those records after 24 hours. For the early-access and pitch forms we store only a one-way hash of your IP address. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.

Cookies and browser storage

Huntr uses one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We don’t use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. The app may also save small settings in your browser (like which updates you’ve already seen).

3. How we use it

To run your account and show you brands ranked for your niches.
To keep Huntr secure and stop spam and abuse.
To understand which features get used and to fix what breaks.
To email you about your account, your early-access invite, or important changes. We don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve asked for them.

We don’t show your activity, earnings or videos to other creators or brands. If we ever add public creator profiles, nothing about you will be public unless you turn it on yourself.

We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We don’t send your information to Trybe. We share it only with:

Service providers that run Huntr for us: our hosting provider (servers in the United States) and our backup storage provider (encrypted backups). When paid plans launch, payments will be handled by our payment processor. Huntr won’t store your card number.
The law: if we’re required to by law, or to protect Huntr, our users or the public from harm or fraud.
A new owner: if Huntr is ever sold or merged, your information may move with it, under this policy’s protections.

5. Content from other sites

Brand logos and Trybe’s Top 100 videos load directly from the brands’ and Trybe’s own servers, which see your IP address the way any website does. Links to Trybe and to brand websites are covered by those sites’ own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days, and it rolls out of our backups within another 30 days. Login-attempt IP addresses are deleted after 24 hours. Synced video stats are replaced on every sync and deleted when you clear them.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete your information by emailing hello@myhuntr.com from the address on your account. You can clear your synced video stats yourself in My Videos. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights under local law; we’ll honor them, and we won’t treat you differently for using them.

8. Security

Passwords and login tokens are stored only as secure hashes, all traffic uses HTTPS, and only the owner can reach Huntr’s admin tools. No service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

9. Age

Huntr is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think we have, email us and we’ll delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. For bigger changes, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
